Knowing how to measure effective family engagement is critical.
PTA’s National Standards for Family-School Partnerships set the foundation for effective collaboration between schools and families to support student success. Standard 5: Share Power focuses on partnering with families in decision-making processes that impact children and communities. This resource offers tools to help schools and districts engage families as equal partners who inform, influence, and shape policies, practices, and programs.
